Unfortunately, our work boat, which is essential for completing the bridge panel repairs, is currently allocated to another high-priority job. Once it becomes available and the required materials have been received, we will confirm a start date for the repairs.
An further update will be provided on or before Thursday, 30 October.

The towpath over Bridge 71, Porters Footbridge, on the Macclesfield Canal is currently closed to all users due to damage to the bridge panels.
Our team is aware of the issue, and a repair method is being organised.
We will provide a further update on or before Thursday 4 September.
